Traffic Congestion Solution?
As in many large cities around the world, traffic congestion and traffic jams as people travel from place to place has become a significant problem. In Vancouver, which bills itself one of the greenest cities in the world, the city council has implemented what has become a controversial solution to the problem: dedicated bike lanes in the downtown core. Watch the video below for a news story that covers both bike lane advocates (people that want more bike lanes) and opponents (those that are against dedicated bike lanes. As our current Vancouver City Council continues to expand the bike lane network through the city, the debate continues.
